I'm Nick, a fintech CTO based in Minnesota.

I lead product and engineering at JustiFi, where we're building embedded payments infrastructure. My work spans everything from technical architecture to business development—negotiating partnerships, shaping product strategy, and managing a distributed team across multiple time zones.

Before JustiFi, I ran payments at Sezzle, overseeing $1B+ in annual transaction volume across multiple continents and launching their card issuing program. Earlier in my career, I built platforms that were genuine firsts: a real-time pharmacy claims adjudication system at Tredium Solutions and a healthcare eligibility management platform at Healthcare Fiscal Management.

I started as a software engineer and still think like one. The path from writing code to leading organizations taught me that the best technical decisions are often business decisions in disguise—and vice versa.
